Seminar Description:
How can we help clients who constantly criticize themselves or undermine their own efforts to get better? Is there a way to work with clients who seem ambivalent about making any change at all? This highly interactive and experiential seminar will give you the clinical tools to help these and other clients overcome self-criticism and self-sabotage. You’ll learn how self-compassion training affects the brain and a wide range of evidence-based interventions. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to design custom-tailored self-compassion practices for any client.
